Piotr, I think trust is complex. Many people think they’re building trust, but they aren’t. At the end of the day it’s a type of relationship. All relationships and types of relationships require work on both sides, and when you’re a leader it’s important to understand what each of your direct reports needs and values and how they perceive trust. Trust also comes from what our teams see us do. Trust is built when we follow through on our actions. Thank you so much for the comment!
